About us

Inclusive events aren't a niche, they're the future of events.
We help organizers design festivals, conferences, summits, and gatherings where neurodivergent and sensory-sensitive attendees can fully show up, connect, and thrive.
The numbers are clear: neurodivergent people make up an estimated 25% of the population, and they're disproportionately represented in music, tech, creative industries, and the very communities your events are built for. When your event works for them, it works better for everyone. That's not compromise. That's good design.

Meet our Founder
Nika Brunet Milunovic

People say nothing beats first-hand lived experience and that’s exactly what shaped Calm Nest Collective.
After more than a decade in the events industry, our founder, Nika, witnessed the toll that long hours, high expectations, and constant pressure take on people. Artists searching for quiet moments, crews working around the clock, and teams stretched thin, the pattern was the same everywhere. The industry’s highs were thrilling, but the lows were quietly unsustainable.
Drawing on a background in social work, an MBA, and ongoing PhD research into neurodiversity and mental health in event production, Nika created Calm Nest Collective to change the story.
Our mission is simple but vital: to design calmer, more inclusive, and more sustainable environments for events, workplaces, and communities worldwide.

The Future we are building

We believe the future of events and workplaces must be inclusive by design, where sensory-friendly environments aren’t optional add-ons, but essential foundations for thriving communities.
Calmer, more sustainable neuroinclusive spaces turn “nice-to-haves” into lived realities that support diverse needs, reduce burnout, and elevate human connection.

What do our clients and room users say?

Our sensory rooms bring an instant wave of relief, offering the neurodivergent-inclusive edge and true sensory peace you’ve been looking for. They create welcoming havens that ease overwhelm, support every nervous system, and foster deep, restorative calm for all.

“You don’t have to be super sensitive to feel overwhelmed at a trade fair, entering a big conference or just any room filled with strangers, being exposed to numerous stimuli, that are competing to catch your attention.

What if a one of the trade fair booths would offer – lets say an oasis of calmness and peace? A retreat for the nerves, where the rules of the fair ground are set upside down: no unwanted approaches, not attention grabbing, just you, a decent cup of tea and the chance for a some minutes of reflection, detox and mindfulness?

Thank you, for the proof of concept!”

"The Quiet Room was a wonderful success. The space felt incredibly welcoming, thoughtfully put together, and accessible to all. The variety of furniture, fidget toys, and calming elements created a genuinely soothing environment that attendees really appreciated. It was also very well used, with over 100 people visiting across the two show days. We were delighted with how positively it was received, and it truly felt like the start of what we hope will be a long-lasting relationship.  Calm Nest were fantastic to work with throughout the process. Your communication was always quick and helpful, and you took full ownership of the setup and delivery, ensuring everything was in place and ready for opening right on time. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother collaboration. Thanks again for your work and care on this project."
